How to come up with a good domain name with Make Words.

June 19th, 2009 Jimmy

Coming up with a domain name for a website can be a daunting task. You can spend hours at Dictionary.com looking up words and searching for available domain names. What if there was a better way to come up with a good domain name?

There is a better way! It’s called MakeWords. MakeWords.com is a website that provides an online tool for generating domain names. You can specify a prefix and a suffix as well as a word and MakeWords will automatically find related words and generate domain names. MakeWords.com can also generate domain names based on a theme and can provide domain names in different languages too!

As an example, you can enter the word cooking with a prefix of “pro” and MakeWords.com will come up with various domains related to the word cooking with the prefix of “pro” and tell if they are available. If they are available you can then purchase them on sites like GoDaddy.com.
